Marseille leapfrogged Paris Saint-Germain to go top of the Ligue 1 table on Saturday night after a 6-2 thrashing of Le Havre, with Mason Greenwood scoring four of the goals.

In the Premier League, Ange Postecoglou was dismissed as Nottingham Forest manager shortly after a 3-0 defeat to Chelsea, bringing an end to a 39-day stint in charge of the Reds. Later in the day, Manchester City striker Erling Haaland continued his impressive goalscoring form with a brace against Everton, taking his tally to 11 for the campaign. Arsenal remain top of the league after a slender win at Fulham, with Leandro Trossard scoring the only goal of the game in the second half.

Teenage table tennis star Félix Lebrun led the way as France came back from behind to beat Germany in the European Team Championships semi-finals. Les Bleus, who face Romania in Sunday's final will look to win their first continental title since 1998.
