A MARRIED teacher who raped a 12-year-old boy before giving birth to his baby allegedly encouraged the child to befriend her toddler son and call him “lil bro”.
Disturbing new details have emerged about Naomi Tekea Craig, 33, who has now pleaded guilty to 15 child abuse-related charges.

She admitted to have repeatedly sexually abused the schoolboy for more than a year.
The former music teacher allegedly coaxed her victim into forming a close bond with her young son just days before the abuse began.
She’d take the two children out together, blurring boundaries in what prosecutors say was a calculated betrayal.
Footage seen by the Daily Mail reportedly shows the boy, then 12, sitting beside Craig’s pre-school-aged son at a small toddler table as they coloured in together.
More on the twisted teacher
The children appear relaxed and familiar, swapping crayons in what looks like a doctor’s waiting room, with the schoolboy calling the toddler “little bro”.
Craig was a married mother of one working at an Anglican school in Mandurah, 43 miles south of Perth, when the alleged offending began in October 2024.
Police claim her offending spanned about 14 months, with WA Police Commissioner Col Blanch condemning the crimes as “absolutely heinous”.
He said: “I think it shocks all members of our community and this is no different and I think it really strikes to the heart of most people’s understanding of child sex offences particularly when there’s a person in a position of authority or care of others and our children and the sanctity of school.
“We’re all shocked and I hope the full weight of the law in relation to sentencing comes down on that individual.”
She was arrested and charged in December – and on Tuesday, Craig appeared in Mandurah Local Court via audio link and pleaded guilty to every charge read aloud.
These included multiple counts of sexual penetration of a child under 13, sexual penetration of a child over 13 and under 16, indecent dealings with a child under 13, and possessing child exploitation material.
She confessed to sexually abusing the boy until she was eight months pregnant before allegedly giving birth to his child.
Craig is currently banned from seeing anyone under 18 without supervision – including her eldest child – with her newborn the sole exception under strict court-ordered bail conditions, the Daily Mail reported.
Following her arrest, the school’s principal wrote to parents and carers, confirming the alleged victim was not a student there.
“I regret to inform you that a teacher from our school has been arrested by police and charged with child-related offences,” the letter said.
“The teacher has been instructed not to attend the school.
“The information available to the school suggests that there is no need for any concern for any children at the school.”
Craig was represented in court by Perth lawyer Reid Hogan.
Her matter has been fast-tracked to the District Court, where she must appear in person on March 27 for a sentence mention.
Craig, who was on maternity leave at the time of her arrest, grew up in Mandurah and previously worked as a private music teacher before joining the school in 2024.
Her bail will remain in place until her next court appearance.
