Liverpool cruised past Marseille 3-0 to put themselves in a strong position to finish in the top eight. The French side will have to beat Club Brugge in their final league match to clinch a playoff spot.

The race for the top eight is wide open. With Barcelona, Chelsea, and Newcastle all winning, eight teams are level on points with one match remaining. Bayern Munich have already secured their place in the Round of 16 thanks to a 2-0 win over Union Saint-Gilloise.

Cristiano Ronaldo is still making history. The Portuguese star scored his 960th professional career goal, moving closer to the milestone of 1,000 goals.
