US President Donald Trump convenes allies in Washington on Thursday to inaugurate the “Board of Peace”, a new body aimed at consolidating progress in Gaza while signalling broader ambitions to reshape international conflict management. This comes a day after the UN Security Council held a high-level meeting on the Gaza ceasefire deal and Israel's efforts to expand control in the West Bank.
