France’s outgoing prime minister Sébastien Lecornu has launched a last-minute bid to try to shore up cross-party support for his collapsed government. Lecornu will on Wednesday meet with socialists, greens and communists to try to find a way out of the deadlock. Follow our liveblog for the latest developments.
