The blast on August 4, 2020 was one of the world's largest non-nuclear explosions, devastating swathes of the Lebanese capital, killing more than 220 people and injuring over 6,500. Five years after the catastrophic explosion, "no one has been held accountable", says Stephanie Khouri, political journalist at L'Orient-Le Jour. "It's quite surreal and very hard to accept for people here five years later, that we are almost back to square one", she added. She spoke to FRANCE 24's Stuart Norval.
