The final document of the Group of 20 summit in South Africa pledges to work toward resolving armed conflicts and easing the burdens on developing nations. Convened on Saturday as the first G20 meeting held on the African continent, the two-day summit set an ambitious agenda to tackle longstanding issues affecting the world’s poorest countries, despite a boycott by the United States.
