'Know someone with lavish life, no job?': South Yorkshire police's post viral as people report Royal Family

South Yorkshire Police

put out a social media appeal inviting inputs on anyone living a lavish lifestyle but without having any job, they intended to nab economic crime. But the social media post was inundated with people reporting the

Royal Family

for 'doing nothing and enjoying a lavish lifestyle'. Apart from Royal Family members, people reported far-Right Tommy Robinson and politician Nigel Farage.
"Do you know someone who lives a lavish lifestyle, but doesn't have a job? Your intelligence is vital in helping us put those who think they're 'untouchable' before the court," the post read.

The appeal was actually made last month but it has blown up with social media users now responding to it -- and mostly reporting the Royal Family members.

In the original appeal available on the website of the South Yorkshire Police, it said thousands of pounds are recovered from criminals across South Yorkshire every month but it's just the tip of the iceberg. "Do you know someone who lives a lavish lifestyle, but yet doesn’t have a job? Can’t tell you how they make their money but they’re driving around in their flash cars, enjoying extravagant holidays and buying expensive items?" it said.
