Three people were killed and at least 12 injured following a deadly mass shooting in Philadelphia. The dramatic shootout was captured on a Ring surveillance camera, with the video later uploaded to social media channels.
People dive for cover as at least three gunmen open fire with their hand guns in chaotic scenes. The incident happened just before 1am on Monday local time on the 1500 block of South 27th Street. Three men - aged 19, 23 and 24 - were killed in the shooting, according to police.

— Open Source Intel (@Osint613) July 7, 2025Nine people were taken to Penn Presbyterian Medical Center for treatment of their injuries, while three others were rushed to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Philadelphia Police Commissioner Kevin Bethel said there were around 40 people present when the shooting broke out.
Nearly 140 pieces of ballistic evidence were found at the scene by investigators.
Bethel said officers had already been called out to deal with an incident at the same block late on Saturday night into early Sunday.
Police made arrests during that earlier incident and continued to monitor the area throughout the weekend.
Bethel said that police are now searching for three suspects in connection to the horrific incident.
He described the incident as part of a violent Fourth of July weekend in the city, which saw six homicides and numerous shootings.
In another shooting, a gunman opened fire at a South Philadelphia nightclub, injuring eight people.

Early Monday morning, four people were then shot on the 6100 block of Vine Street in West Philadelphia.
"As you know, the July 4th holiday, both in Philadelphia and across this country, in particular in our urban centres, have been very challenging, but we remain resolute in our work," he told reporters.
"We will not go back to the times when we had 560-plus homicides," he added. "That is not happening."
