Paul Hopkins, 50, of Romsey, Hampshire, was sentenced at Bournemouth Crown Court on Thursday after pleading guilty to 25 child sexual abuse offences. He will serve an additional eight years on licence.Hopkins was arrested in March 2025 by the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit (SWROCU) after officers discovered he was attempting to arrange an online meeting with a young girl to abuse her. The investigation then uncovered that he had been livestreaming the abuse of a nine-year-old girl in the Philippines.
