A teenage girl was reportedly spiked and gang raped while on her way to a water park. Police have launched a manhunt to find several suspects following the alleged attack on Monday (July 6). The victim, 13, was on her way to a water park when she was snatched by a man and taken to a nearby hotel.
She was then reportedly given a cold drink laced with drugs which caused her to lose consciousness. The man who took her from the street then called three other men, who attended the hotel and raped the girl. The gang are said to have held the victim overnight before letting her go the following morning.

As reported by The New Indian Express, the alleged attack took place at a hotel in the district of Udham Singh Nagar in Uttarakhand, India. The girl was waiting for an auto-rickshaw, located near Medicity Hospital, before being taken and raped.
She was reportedly with a friend at the time but the man separated the pair before taking the victim to the hotel near the Lalpur Toll Plaza. The victim was then drugged and raped before being released the following morning.
At around 11am, she managed to reach a nearby shop where she used a phone to call her mother. She then rushed to her daughter before calling police.

Officers from the Rudrapur Kotwali station launched an immediate investigation and are now on the hunt for four suspects. Detectives are gathering evidence from the hotel, reviewing CCTV footage and tracking digital footprints to locate the attackers.
Uttam Singh Negi, Superintendent of Police (City), said: "We have registered a case under the relevant sections of the law based on the mother's complaint. The investigation is moving forward using scientific and technical evidence, and our teams are currently conducting raids to arrest everyone involved."
Udham Singh Nagar is a district in the Terai region of Uttarakhand, bordering the state of Uttar Pradesh to the south and west, and Nepal to the east. It has a population of around 1.7 million people.
