This case follows another disturbing incident in Greater Noida last week, where a 38-year-old man was arrested for allegedly murdering his 14-year-old stepdaughter and dumping her body in a forest.

According to local reports, the man brutally assaulted the girl with a piece of rope and left the body in a sack. He then reportedly walked to a police station and filed a missing person complaint, claiming the girl had not returned home after being sent to buy milk.

The 38-year-old was arrested after the initial probe revealed he had been repeatedly censured by the family for leering at the girl, his stepdaughter from his fourth marriage.
