A young boy was found dead in a pond after reportedly sleepwalking out of his home. The 10-year-old was reported missing shortly before midnight on Thursday (July 9) before police officers found him unresponsive in a pond.
Jackson S. Georgari was last seen wearing a grey t-shirt and grey shorts when he left his home. According to his sister, Semina Richard, he was known to sleepwalk and had gone missing before. On that occasion police managed to find him safely and take him home. However, he was found dead in a pond after an urgent search was launched to find him on Thursday night.

As reported by People, Jackson was found in a pond in the US state of Missouri. His sister believes he walked a path along wooded areas near streams and ponds before falling in.
Police confirmed that Jackson had been found "unresponsive in a pond near the Briarcliff Village on North Mulberry." They described the pond as "very large".
Local officer Jake Becchina said: "Fire and rescue personnel immediately began resuscitation efforts but unfortunately he was declared deceased there at that location." They added that there is no evidence of foul play.
The officer added: "It hurts in your community when you have a kid that goes out in the middle of the night and whatever the circumstances were that led to him ending up in there.

"It’s not an update we ever want to provide, and it’s truly unfortunate. I really feel for the family involved in this.
"It’s unimaginable. Can’t even imagine. They went to bed last night, and everything was normal, and now today they have to deal with this."
Following Jackson's death, his sister said: "The first time it happened was when we were in San Diego, and he (sleepwalked) and then someone found him on the street and they called 911. They brought him over and he was found safely."
She added: "The second time, it was here. We recently moved here from San Diego to Missouri. And he ran away again, and he went, like, all the way up there where his school is at because that’s the only place he recognizes."
