At least two people died and eight more were left injured after a van reportedly crashed into a crowded area in a tourism hotspot.
Local reports indicate that the driver accelerated their car into a large crowd of people in a popular South Korean destination filled with holidaymakers.
As paramedics rushed to the scene, 10 people needed urgent treatment, with two being pronounced dead after suffering cardiac arrests.
One more of the group was seriously injured, and all of the victims were taken to the hospital for further care.
