NASCAR star Greg Biffle, his wife Cristina, and their beloved children Ryder and Emma have been confirmed dead following a devastating plane crash at Statesville Regional Airport in North Carolina on Thursday.

According to a joint statement released by the Biffle, Grossu, Dutton, and Lunders families, the ill-fated aircraft departed the airport just after 10 a.m., seemingly bound for Florida, but made a shocking U-turn less than 30 minutes later before tragically crashing upon landing.
The families remembered Greg and Cristina as "devoted parents and active philanthropists whose lives were centered around their young son Ryder and Greg's daughter Emma." They described Emma as "a wonderful human being with a kind soul who was loved by many people," while Ryder was remembered as "an active, curious and infinitely joyful child."
