The French Football Federation pulled its support for current FIFA head Gianni Infantino's re-election bid following a Thursday meeting of its executive committee, French daily Le Monde cited a source familiar with the matter as saying.
Infantino has come under heavy criticism his handling of โthe Folarin Balogun red-card case at the World Cup, as well as his failed plan to sell stakes in the event.
