Kenya on Tuesday confirmed its first case linked to the ongoing Ebola outbreak in Africa, the fastest-spreading in history, with a Kenyan citizen who arrived from Congo via Uganda testing positive for the infection.According to Kenyan health minister Aden Duale, the patient arrived in the country on October 3 and had been isolated and treated at a hospital in the capital, Nairobi.The person tested positive for the Ebola virus after developing symptoms associated with hemorrhagic fever and died late Monday while receiving treatment.“Twenty-eight contacts, including family members and health workers who cared for the patient, have been identified.
