Cover image: © France 24 01:58 Issued on: 22/09/2026 - 15:29 On the eve of International Peace Day, an Ethiopian rebel leader announced an alliance of seven armed groups with the stated objective of toppling Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed's ruling party and establishing a transitional government.
