Eight US soldiers injured and one fighting for life after military truck crash in Poland

Eight US servicemembers have been injured in a crash involving a military vehicle en route to a training ground near Drawsko Pomorskie, Poland, on Thursday. The truck, which was carrying soldiers to a training site near Drawsko Pomorskie, left the roadway and reportedly overturned.

"One person in serious condition was transported by air ambulance helicopter to a hospital in Gryfice," a press officer for the Military Police in Szczecin reported. The soldiers were being transported for training, riding in the back of the truck, on benches. The vehicle's right wheel clipped the shoulder and overturned , he added. Five emergency medical teams were dispatched to the scene.
