Donald Trump has sent a chilling warning to Iran if his war enemy follows through with any threat to try to assassinate him. The comments from the US President came hours after the funeral of Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, which saw open calls for him to be killed.
But Mr Trump has sent a horror warning that thousands of missiles are "locked and loaded" and aimed at Iran, should the country's government act on its threat. He also claimed "orders have already been given" for the US military to "completely decimate" all areas of Iran over a one-year period, which would be "subject to extension".

He wrote on Truth Social: "1000 Missiles are Locked and Loaded and aimed at the Islamic Republic of Iran, with thousands of more to immediately follow, should the Iranian Government act on its threat, pronounced in many corners of the Globe, to assassinate, or attempt to assassinate, the sitting President of the United States of America, in this case, ME!
"Orders have already been given, and the U.S. Military is ready, willing, and able, for a one year period of time, subject to extension, to completely decimate and destroy all areas of Iran - PRAISE BE TO ALLAH! President DONALD J. TRUMP."
This comes after Israel has reportedly uncovered intelligence that it said indicated an Iranian plan to kill the US President. It shared the information with the US, according to people familiar with the matter and reported by the Wall Street Journal.
Mr Trump also alluded to threats to his life while speaking to reporters in Türkiye on Wednesday amid the NATO summit.
He said: "They want to take out the US leader - me. I'm on every list. I saw this morning, I'm on every single one of their lists. And so far, I guess I've been a little bit lucky, but that maybe doesn't last very long."
The following day, Iranians mourned the Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei and chanted for Mr Trump's death, with some unveiling a banner that read "We Will Kill Trump."
Washington and Tehran were working towards securing a lasting peace agreement, restoring international shipping through the critical Strait of Hormuz and seeking to settle an ongoing dispute over Iran's nuclear programme.
But Mr Trump said the ceasefire is "over" at the NATO summit in Türkiye. He told reporters: "I don't want to deal with them anymore. They're scum."
