On June 1, 2026, the UN Environment Programme named Alok a Global Goodwill Ambassador, highlighting work carried out through the Alok Institute, which he founded in 2020. According to UNEP, his nature-preservation projects in the Amazon and three other Brazilian biomes have contributed to the restoration of 3 million square metres of native forest, an area equivalent to more than 300 soccer fields, with 400,000 seedlings planted.
