"Started as a fight by door 2A, shooting by door 2C, 30+ casings on scene," @Chicago_Scanner posted.
A driver for a nearby hotel described hearing gunfire at around 12.50am.
They wrote on Reddit: "I drive a shuttle for a hotel nearby and was at the airport when it sounded like someone opened fire. I took off too quickly to see what happened, but was wondering if anyone had seen anything? I left at 12:50am as it was happening."
"It just breaks my heart to think that one of our guests here in town had an experience like that. It should just never happen.
"It shouldn't happen to a resident; it shouldn't happen to a tourist," Hopkins said. "It should just never happen, and outrage is an appropriate response to it."
