A BRIT tourist who vanished on a night out with his pals in Madrid has been found "safe and well".
Gregor Thomson, 21, was visiting the Spanish city with his rugby teammates and girlfriend when he shockingly disappeared.
Relatives said the Edinburgh University history student's last-known location was Diverzo Cocktail Bar in the Spanish capital, where he became separated from pals.
His disappearance sparked an urgent search and social media appeal to help find the student.
However, he was soon found after a two-day search.
Dad Murray, who flew out to Madrid where the 21-year-old had vanished, said: "Just landed in Madrid and received the good news Gregor is safe.

"I’m still not sure what happened. Just very relieved."
Cousin Amy Hood added: "He’s been found safe and well"
The worried dad urged anyone with any information to contact authorities as soon as possible as the family continue "praying for good news".
He said: “No-one’s heard from Gregor since the early hours of Saturday morning and we’re obviously all extremely worried.
“He had only arrived in Madrid around 9.30am on Friday with rugby teammates for a weekend away.
“We've been told he became separated from them in a bar called Diverzo Cocktail Bar.

“They’d obviously had a few drinks so things are a little bit hazy but the people he was with say he wasn’t talking to anyone else or doing anything out of the ordinary that might explain a disappearance like this.
“My son is a sensible lad and he’s never gone missing like this before.
“The police are involved and are doing everything they can including trying to get hold of CCTV in the area where he was last seen for clues."
Earlier, Gregor's friend Liv Anderson launched an urgent appeal on Facebook for information.
Liv wrote: "Hi everyone, I am reaching out in hopes of locating my friend who has gone missing in Madrid."
She continued: "He is part of a rugby team from Scotland and was with his teammates at the bar.
"They all left together however he returned to the bar on his own to retrieve something he had left. He has not been seen since then.
"His teammates and captain had been at the police station yesterday (Sat 26th), and the police officially named him as a missing person last night.
"His phone is dead (most likely) and we don’t know if he has ID on him or knows exactly where he is, as it was their first day and he does not know Madrid.
"If anyone has seen him or has any information please reach out immediately. Please share this if you can, to help spread the word. Call 112 for police."
Liv described her friend as "6ft1 with an athletic, solid build and brown hair".
She also shared photos of the missing Brit along with screenshots showing his last known location and the area where he was staying.
Gregor is understood to play for Edinburgh-based Stewart’s Melville RFC.
