A plane has crashed into a hangar at Parafield Airport in Adelaide’s north in Australia, causing a massive fire and plumes of smoke. It's believed the small plane hit the hanger as it was attempting to land. Officials have not confirmed how many people were on board at the time.
One listener told 891 ABC Adelaide: " It looks like a large fire in an aeroplane hangar. I've seen multiple fire trucks going through — this is probably the fifth one now, and multiple emergency services heading out there. It's pretty big."

Smoke advice
South Australian Metropolitan Fire Service issue advice to the surrounding public and advise those suffering from smoke inhalation to dial 000.
Smoke from the blaze is reportedly starting to drift towards Mawson Lakes and surrounding suburbs.
Firefighters remain at the scene and are urging people to keep their windows and doors shut.

"Parafield Airport has been closed to all air traffic. However, we are allowing returning aircraft to land. We will provide full support."

Local media shares pictures of the crash - 'multiple people on board'
A local media site 7newsadelaide has shared pictures of the crash and fire on Instagram.
They say: "BREAKING: An emergency response is unfolding at Parafield Airport where a plane has crashed with multiple people onboard."Thick black smoke can be seen billowing from the tarmac."
A listener told 891 ABC Adelaide: "It looks like a large fire in an aeroplane hangar. I've seen multiple fire trucks going through — this is probably the fifth one now, and multiple emergency services heading out there. It's pretty big.
"You could see the gable in the front doors of the hangar billowing out black smoke, just coming out. Couldn't see flames but it was quite large — you could see some sort of fuel."
Area evacuated as emergency services rush to scene
The area has been evacuated following the crash. Emergency services have rushed to the scene but it is unknown how many people were on board the plane or in the building.
