Tech tycoon Andy Byron has resigned (Image: -)
Tech Tycoon Andy Byron has resigned from US software company Astronomer after being caught in an unfortunate “kiss cam” moment with another employee. The clip, which has racked up millions of views on social media, shows Byron with his arms wrapped around his colleague during a Coldplay concert in Boston, Massachusetts.
Astronomer said the CEO had tendered his resignation, which was accepted by the board of directors. The company's statement read: "As stated previously, Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. "Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability, and recently, that standard was not met.

"The board will begin a search for our next chief executive as co-founder and chief product officer Pete DeJoy continues to serve as interim CEO."
The camera zoomed in on Byron, who is reportedly married, and Kristin Cabot, Astronomer’s Chief People Officer. The viral footage shows them immediately letting go of each other, hiding their faces and ducking off camera.
Coldplay frontman Chris Martin was quick to comment: "Either they're having an affair, or they're just very shy." Neither Byron nor Cabot has commented on the footage.
On Friday evening, the company confirmed on X that its CEO had been placed on leave following rumours of his affair with Cabot. Pete DeJoy, the company's co-founder and chief product officer, has been appointed interim CEO.
Resale tickets and viagogo
Sites such as viagogo, Stubhub, and Vivid Seats allow fans to buy resale tickets from other fans. However, it is important to note that ticket conditions often prohibit resale after initial purchase. Those tickets may not be valid for admittance to gigs.
Fans intending to buy tickets for live events through resale websites should check the ticket terms and conditions, to confirm whether resale is prohibited, before they buy. Ticket terms and conditions can be checked with the original seller, such as Ticketmaster or Live Nation. If resale is prohibited, tickets bought second-hand could be voided and admission to the event refused.
The company announced: "Astronomer is committed to the values and culture that have guided us since our founding. Our leaders are expected to set the standard in both conduct and accountability.
"The Board of Directors has initiated a formal investigation into this matter and we will have additional details to share very shortly."
