A horror plane crash sent shock waves across the world with the pilot's chilling final words revealed.

Air France Flight 447 was a passenger plane flying from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, to Paris, France which crashed into the Atlantic Ocean.

The scheduled international flight killed all 228 people on board when it hit the water on June 1, 2009.

The horrific freefall took place at 2:14 with a final nose angle of 16.2 degrees, a speed reading of 152 knots, and a vertical speed of 10,912 feet per minute.

A total of 154 bodies were recovered from the wreckage of Air France Flight 447.

The pilot’s chilling last words before the crash which was recorded in the cockpit have been revealed.

After two years, the plane's wreckage was finally discovered including the cockpit recordings' final moments.

In the recording, Bonin’s final words can be heard who was only 32-years-old at the time.

"[I] don't have control of the aeroplane anymore now,” he said.

His last words were then: "I don't have control of the aeroplane at all!"

The tragic plane crash sent shockwaves across the globe with outrage about the aviation industry’s growing concern about such “loss of control” incidents.

The plane experienced transient icing on the speed sensors which caused inconsistent airspeed readings.

This caused the flight computer to disconnect from the autopilot with the startled pilots, Pierre-Cédric Bonin and David Robert, who then had to fly the plane manually.

Bonin’s attempts to stabilize the aircraft and correct a slight roll which occurred when the autopilot disconnected caused the Air France Flight 447 to roll sharply left and right.

This overcorrection from Bonin then caused the plane to steeply climb until it then stalled and began to rapidly descend.

The Air France Airbus A330 then tragically vanished over the Atlantic during a horrific storm killing everyone on board.

Co-pilot Bonin had attempted to pull back on his control stick while trying to rectify the situation but his attempts were futile as he then exclaimed, "We're going to crash! This can't be true. But what's happening?"

The tragic loss of life led to crucial changes within the aviation sector in order for this to never happen again, including enhanced pilot training programs and stricter regulations for airspeed sensors.
