A stunning seaside town in Majorca has been named the most beautiful village in the Balearic Islands.
Puerto Pollensa, a port on Majorca's northern coast, has been a tourist hotspot for years and is particularly favoured by Brits in part due to its breathtaking mountain views.
Now it's been named the prettiest village in the Balearics by the Association of the Most Beautiful Villages of Spain.
The guide praises the town's extensive sandy beaches fringed with palm trees, its "splendid array" of dining options and "excellent" hotels.
It has an army of fans with one happy traveller saying on travel review website Tripavisor it was "pretty" as well as "peaceful and relaxing".
They said: "For any age group this is a good resting place, lots of wonderful restaurants. Walk along the sea front and see a grand selection of boats. Little beaches, so never over crowded."

Touted as a family-friendly resort, the town offers gorgeous views of Pollensa Bay, which inspired a story by famed author Agatha Christie.
For those who enjoy hiking, the Boquer Valley trail offers a scenic route to a secluded cove. For a more challenging trek, there's the path to the former Lluc monastery in the Tramuntana mountains.
Golfers are drawn to Majorca's Golf Pollensa for a quick nine holes alongside the main road to Palma, whilst those seeking a more formidable challenge head to Alcanadas 18-hole course, with abcMallorca hailing it as a "challenging, top-level" experience.
Tui's glowing endorsement of Puerto Pollensa celebrates the Spanish town as epitomising Spain "the way it was meant to be", complete with "pretty beaches", a quaint cobbled promenade and delightful old stone houses.
Visitors can bask on the sandy shores of Pollensa Beach, complete with sun-loungers and water sports aplenty, or enjoy family fun at Albercutx Beach, a slender bay known for its gentle waters and dappled shade.

One person said of the beach on Tripadvisor: "Puerto Pollensa beach is one of my favourites! White sand, clean, blue water, easy access to water. Great beds.
"Cafe and bar within walking distance. Wooden walkways to protect from red hot sand. Adjacent to road with shops bars testaurants. Good shower WC facilities."
Those in search of those amazing views will find Cap de Formentor an unmissable destination, reachable within 30 minutes by bus and offering towering cliffs.

The quaint town of Puerto Pollensa boasts various accommodations including the acclaimed Hotel Illa d'Or, Hoposa Hotel and the serene Hotel Llenaire.
Delicious food awaits at local eateries like Bellaverde and Terrae, the familial touch at Zarzales, seaside dining at Hoposa Bahia in Bahia Hotel, and seafood specialities at La Llonja.
A plethora of airlines including Jet2, easyJet, TUI, Ryanair, British Airways, Iberia, Lauda Europe and Qatar Airways offer direct flights to the island.
