Chaos erupted online as Netflix users faced unexpected streaming issues, leaving fans in a frenzy just as excitement for Stranger Things reached a fever pitch.

Netflix users were hit by widespread streaming problems on November 26, with more than 10,000 reports logged on Downdetector at the height of the disruption. The issues emerged just as anticipation builds for the release of the final season of Stranger Things.
According to Downdetector, 51 percent of users said they were unable to stream video, while 41 percent reported problems connecting to Netflix’s servers.
Given Netflix’s huge global audience, the outage sparked a rapid reaction online. Many viewers immediately linked the disruption to excitement surrounding Stranger Things Season 5.

One user posted: “NOT NETFLIX BEING DOWN BC OF STRANGER THINGS INFLUX LMFAOOOOO.”
Another wrote: “Waited all day to watch stranger things and now Netflix is down.”
A third user asked: “Bro is Netflix f*ing DOWN? LIKEHAHSJSJ,”** alongside a screenshot showing the platform failing to load.
